EditorsNote:  The month of March is not only the Host of CollegeBasketball madness, it also is NationalWomensHistory month, a few notable Facts & Figures, statistics that measure societal Progress…I am often Critical of “TheProgress” I speak of here, SocietalProgress that is, so I thought I would show my range & present a few societal steps forward…& a couple steps sideways…

       ► To begin…153.6million Women in America, 149.4million Men

    ► 54% of which are Mothers, or 82.8million

     ► 59% of Women in America, 16years old or older, work outside

        TheHome, compared to 74% of Men

    ► $32,649 is the MedianIncome of Women, 16years or older who

        work Fulltime & YearRound

    ►  77¢, is how much Women are paid, on average, for every $1 a

        Man earns today…In DirtCity, Women earn 98¢ on the Man$1

    ►  17% or 26.8million Women, 25years or older hold a  

         CollegeDegree, from roughly 12million in 1978

    ►  3million Girls in America participate in HighSchoolSports, the  

         number was 1.5million in 1978
